Chef Maria deCorpo, local chef, food consultant and daughter of a fishmonger, will lead you as you cook a variety of wonderfully delicious and creative seafood dishes. Offered in conjunction with the Healdsburg Steelhead Festival, this hands-on cooking workshop will help you overcome any hesitation you have about selecting, handling and cooking a wide variety of seafood. In addition to leading the cooking, Chef Maria will share a wealth of seafood information at this class, including how to select the freshest and most sustainable seafood at the market, which cooking techniques work best with different types of seafood, and how to keep different kinds of seafood fresh once you've brought it home. We'll enjoy our seafood lunch with local boutique wines.
